OTHER SIDE OF TOMORROW
I've been down this dark and lonely road before.
Too many times, oh so many times.
Each step I take leads farther into nowhere;
Deeper into the darkness of my torn and aching soul.
I've prayed for a swift death before.
Too many times, oh so many times.
But now again I'm forced to endure -
This hell I have created for myself.
I'm just drifting along;
Not quite alive, not quite dead.
I'm just living in a song;
Repeating the lyrics in my head.
I'm just drifting along,
Hoping there is still some hope ahead.
Somewhere on the other side of tomorrow.
I'm dreaming of the other side of tomorrow.
I've cried without shedding tears before.
Too many times, oh so many times.
Each time it hurts a little more,
Until I'm deafened by the scremaing of my heart.
Someday I'll see beyond this anguish;
I'll be free to start my life anew.
But right now I've got just one wish -
That on the other side of tomorrow
I'll find you.
