IN TOO DEEP
I don't know what I'm thinking
I don't know what I feel.
Can you tell me if I'm dreaming,
or is this illusion real?
I don't know where I'm going;
I always end up where I've been.
Repeating wrong moves I thought were right;
Playing a game that I can't win.
Can you tell me what it means -
when my mind clouds over?
Why is nothing what it seems?
I feel like I'm in over
my head.
Feel like I'm in
way too deep.
Hearing voices
making promises
about secrets
that I can't keep.
I don't know if I'm living,
or just pretending to live;
Seems I'm always giving
when I've nothing left to give.
Can you tell me what it means
when my heart freezes over?
I'm not as easy as I seem;
I feel like I'm in over
my head.
Feel like I'm in
way too deep.
Hearing voices
making promises

Can you tell me what to feel
so I'll act appropriately?
My emotions keep me fighting;
I'm so tired, so damn beat.
So confused - in too deep.
Yeah, I'm just in
Too fucking deep!
