if you're only hearing modern bands you're not gonna get very far! the best stuff comes from back in the day. classic metal beats the hell out of anything modern!

Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, Black Sabbath/Ozzy, Metallica, Megadeth, Motorhead, Anthrax, Dio, Diamond Head, even Guns N Roses!

all great bands! even if you don't like them im sure you're not ignorant enough to see the talent involved.
