I believe that it has been somewhere around 4 yrs since the last Louis
L'Amour audio drama has been done(Son of a Wanted Man) and I was
just wondering are they ever going to release anymore? I remember
growing up in the late 80s listening to the monthly(or maybe it was
every other month) release of the short story dramas up until I
graduated from High School('99, which I believe Love and the Cactus Kid
was the very last of the regular released audio dramas which came out
in the Spring of that year).
I would imagine that most of the sound effects are covered for LL's
western stories(although I would love to get some more audio dramas
from the Hills of Homocide collection) and it would just be more of a
script and/or getting the talent together. Now I realize that it probably
could no where nearly be like it was in the hayday that I managed to be
lucky enough to experiance when they were originally released, but I
would like to some more done with the short stories(and if lucky enough
another novella or maybe even a novel(Flint)) if possible.
Does anybody know if there is a slight chance of this happening or am I
just whistling Dixie here?
