am looking for a short story by L'Amour and I cannot remember which
collection includes this story. I read this story about 15 years ago, so I
am a little hazy on the details.
What I remember is an older man is hired to kill a younger man. The
older man ends up at a cabin or something where he meets the wife of
the man he is to kill. The wife feeds him and talks to him and is very
nice and welcoming to him to the point that the older man decides not
to kill the younger man.

Hopefully, someone knows what story this is and where I can locate it.
