Louis had a knack for spouting proverbs, didn't he? Listen to this one from "Fair Blows the Wind," in his conversation with Tosti Padget: "I had rather have one story talked about in an inn or over a campfire than a dozen on the dusty shelves of the academies." It's amazing how much an author puts in his writings, that of his own self, isn't it?
