This is for many L'Amour romancing us at his best. About story lines and characters and subplots, there are times in LL's book, though not often, that I find he brings up something, then it is totally left off. Maybe he was writing so fast and so fluently that he didn't have notes and plots written out. Maybe he just typed the stories out as he made them up. Note the quote on Beau L'Amour's website. Most of the time I was enjoying his stories so much that I forgot these other characters and subplots. |
