Right on the money ...

It was entitled, "The Sacketts", was released in 1979 by M.B. Scott Productions, ran 198 minutes and starred, among others, Glenn Ford (Tom Sunday), Sam Elliot (Tell), Tom Selleck (Orrin), Jeff Osterhage (Tyrel), Ben Johnson (Cap), Gilbert Roland (Don Luis), John Vernon (Jonathan Pritts) and Mercedes McCambridge (Ma Sackett)...

The movie was a consolidation of "The Daybreakers" and "The Sacketts" and as a result, Tell was in the story line. Also starring ... Jack Elam (Ira Bigelow), Slim Pickens (Jack Bigelow), Gene Evans (Benson Bigelow), Ruth Roman (Rosie), L.Q. Jones (Belden) and Paul Koslo (Kid Newton).

I have enjoyed watching it several times, but then again, it is based on LL's work.
