The sad part of it all is that if Tom had only listened to Tye, him and Orrin could have made a powerful team. It seemed that Tom had respect for Tye but not for himself. It hurts when you see someone headed down the road of destruction. Tye was powerless to stop the path Tom had chosen. What direction would we take if our student outshine the instructor? Pride or jealousy?
