James you're right. The bond between brothers can be very strong. When we were first introduced to Tom Sunday one took a instant liking to the man. But knew something was wrong when he did'nt want to send the money to the girl. You can see that knowing the difference from right and wrong doesn't necessarily mean that person will follow the right course. Tom Sunday knew the written laws and followed them but the inner moral laws he was willing to ignore.
