I was thinking of your comments when I saw the pic of George W. Bush with Charleton Heston waiving a rifle over George's head yukking it up for the cameras...whew. What were they thinking? If I were George's campaign manager I'd have cut my own throat over that one. I thought Bush had been running a pretty smooth campaign until that little photo-op.
