Have you noticed how the Sackett family stick together. In adversity
they come together and help each other no matter how far apart they
are. They are family and they intend to remain that way. In today's
society this is getting to be a rare thing. I'm lucky I come from a family
of 15 children and when we face adversity we seem to always come
together even though we're spread across many states. It seems that
Louis L'Amour has always promoted family togetherness in most of his
books. Sometimes I wonder if this is because he was separeted from his
family for so long when he was traveling and seeing the world.
