Julie Newmar's face is very beautiful in an odd and totally capitivating way...she was probably best known for her role in the TV Batman as Catwoman...she sometimes played the part of a ditz, but I believe her IQ is somewhere in the upper stratisphere, so I guess she's a pretty good actress. She probably is still exciting to look at, but since I first read LL's description of Em Talon I thought of a 50 something Julie Newmar...the difference being Em was plain looking as a young woman, and Julie was anything but plain. I guess when I think about it Ms. Newmar isn't plain in any way, shape or form, and except for her face that is how I pictured Em, which seems a small concession.
