I remember a car race with an equally idiotic character in a '70 GTO. We came off the light at Weyburn and Westwood in Westwood Village made the turn on to Hilgard and raced to Sunset. It was 8pm on Saturday night. To those not familiar with LA; this was a very crowded night spot back in the '70s, just outside UCLA. Hilgard is sorority row. To my (lack of) credit I was 17 at the time. I can't remember who won ant I doubt the other driver can either . . . we were too busy trying to keep everyone around us from being killed (or some such wierdness . . . we'd have been the killers after all). These days I'd take an ax handle to any car or driver I found doing this in my neighborhood.
