Sounds good to me! Dickens has never been my fave rave. But he was writing his novels in weekly installments in the newspaper, and the longer he stretched it out, the more numerous the paychecks would be. Sort of convenient that his philosophy fit into such practical dimensions.

Victorians loved his stuff, though. I remember in the movie "Gone with the Wind," in the scene where the ladies are waiting at Melanie's house while the husbands go out and clean up hobo holler, Melanie breaks out a copy of one of the Dickens' recent novels to read aloud to her friends while they nervously sew and await the outcome.
