Busy as usual so only up to the part where Bendigo is considering
going to bring back cattle. It would take several months. He knows
the little town needs every gun it can get with hunting needs and
thirty to forty bad guys roaming about, not to mention the Indians.
He was thinking of the money he could make. Kind of reminded me of
Tell Sackett running up to that gold mine while Cap Roundtree was left
to fend for himself. I wonder why Louis puts such risky moves in the
story and would a good msn have done such things in real life -
knowing others are depending upon him?
