It sure is fun to read how they built their town. I wanted to be there
with them, working right along. Mrs. Macken built to last. The other's
weren't so sure. Did they ever give the town a name?
I have been in two blizzards, one of them by myself in a car in Duluth.
It took me 2 hours to go nine miles. It feels like someone is slapping
your face continuously, the cold bites so bad. Your nose freezes inside,
and it cracks when you touch it. Your eyelashes become hard, breaking
when you blink. You dare not move, to keep what little warm air there
is around you. All is white around you. You dare not breathe for the
knife it sends. Guys, it was 20 BELOW, with a wind chill of minus 50!
