I think your heart makes you move before you realize what you've done. I don't see that Milo could move to do anything for Anne, nor did he have the inclination to meet Maggie when he first heard of her nor until he had to later for the horses. We will always like the things we like, and nature should be allowed to rule. I have just heard from two friends I've known for years whose spouses just told them they haven't loved them for years and want out. Seems to me Milo yearned for Anne and felt small, but when he was with Molly he acted quickly and naturally and felt and looked strong.
