I've always been surprised that the women could be so mean, to me sometimes meaner than the men. I would have liked to have seen Anne's face and read her mind as it sank in that she was going to get it now. And old Maggie, what an old bore! I met a mean woman like that, in fact our family had to put up with her until the relationship ended, and I have come to see that what drives these people to interfere and bully weaker people is simply money and more money. And this is especially true when none of it is even due them in any way. They run roughshod over nicer people, but in our case, the old woman ended up even worse and went away with nothing. They say she is now delusional. I wonder if Anne became delusional in her last minutes. And I bet Maggie was so mad she had a stroke.
