Yesterday, we lost power at the store I work at. When I went in to open up this morning, the power was still out. So, for about four or five hours, I had nothing to do except wait for power to be restored---and read =) I read almost all of MT (less than forty pages left) and while I haven't finished completely, I'm ready to start discussing some of the things I thought about today. One of the things I thought the most about was motivation--every character, no matter how minor, had some sort of motivation behind their actions, thoughts and decisions. What do all of you think are the motivating forces behind the characters?
