I'm going to post this on the main board too. I had bought this set a year ago but LL's description of Barnabas's love of the new land reminded me of it. It is a four video set by Time Life called Land of the Eagle. It is described as a trip back in time with actual video taken of course in modern time but in a way that it could also be hundreds of years ago. It starts with the meeting of Indians and Europeans with the Indians arriving well before the Europeans of course. The first volume is of teh Chesapeake Bay area, The Outer Banks and the Blue Ridge mountains. It speaks of the native cultures of Powhatan and Cherokee tribes attuned to the rhythms of nature. Other volumes included in the set include Conquering the Swamps, sea of grass, into the shining moutains and more. A pretty neat set.
