Yeah, that sounds good. Maybe he just forgot to make that connection. Another idea is the "forged-in-battle" friendship. Seems like those happen a lot in literature and real life, especially with martial types. I just listened to this the other day, but I forget -- didn't Jublain help him out of that fight with Genester?
