I think, coming from the South where we hear some mighty strange names, (an example was FSU football player "Amp Lee". When asked about his name, he replied "It's short for Ampraham, like in the Bible, Ampraham and Sarah.") that "Jublain" may be a contraction of "Jubalation". That's my theory. Happy Trails. Jim E.
