That is some interesting information. I had never heard of this Talon. The French & Indian War era and before it, are particularly interesting times in the history of North America. I like to read of the exploits of the early Jesuits along what became the US and Canada borders. Imagine the fortitude it took for these early Europeans to risk their lives in unknown forests of America where some tribes could be deadly and brutal. In Sackett's Land I am at the point where Barnabas has obtained the manuscripts of the history of England. It is 1599 and I am sure he is going to America to explore in one of my favorite time periods.
