I haven't had a chance to read the book yet, but had to comment on the inland passage. Took a cruise there last August. The land is unbelievably magnificent -- so pristine, so unsettled, island after island with pine trees coming to the water's edge, marvelous glaciers and water falls on mountains. Only had a week -- wished I could have spent a lot more time. Can't wait until I can read the book. Sandy
