I quickly looked in my TOM and did not find anything right off the bat from Sitka, so I took the actual quote above from Sitka, Ch. 1. Those teachin' an' preachin' sessions by L'A in his books were to me one of the top reasons for reading L'A. I sure did need them, for I had so much growing up to do. I wasn't ever in trouble, but just so believing and naive. I was really dumb at times, and L'A helped me out so much. He still does.
